Identical Disaster (The Sterling Shore Series Book 8)

By C.M. Owens

identical disaster

My life was simple… until Bo Brendon crashed into my lap. Shy girls aren’t my thing, yet somehow, she’s under my skin and in my head. It’s a f*cking nightmare. Yet it’s a nightmare I don’t want to give up.

Jax Marshall was an accident. A really sexy, smart, incredibly smooth, hot… accident. He’s the kind of guy you shouldn’t fall in love with, because he could crush you with barely any effort. Especially someone like me. Either it will be the best thing to ever happen to me, or it will be the disaster that leaves me in ruins.

I guess I’ll find out.

Which is your favourite book that you have written to date and why?

This is going to sound generic, but each book becomes my favorite as I write it.

Is there a book you have ever written but not publish? if yes, can you tell us why?

Several. Sometimes I write something just to free my head, but it sounds too much like something already out there that I’m aware of so I refuse to publish it.

What or whom inspired you to become a writer? What do you hope to accomplish through your writing?

I’ve always written. Poetry when I was younger, then songs, then finally books. Music inspires me usually, but I’ve had stories in my mind for years. It’s nice to get them out. I write numerous versions of women, but they all have one thing in common – strength. That strength may form in the book. Or that strength may waver. Sometimes it’s buried deep and has to be brought to the surface. Sometimes the strength is on the outside and creating too much of a wall to let ppl close. All of them have strength in different ways, and they grow as ppl within the stories. That’s part of what I want to accomplish: helping someone identify and relate with those characters and find their own strength. You’d be amazed and how many ppl are influenced by literature on a daily basis. I also want to change the way women see each other, prove we’re stronger when we have each other’s backs. It’s something I try to convey with the strong friendships in the books. Sorry for the hella long answer. Lol

On Amazon, we noticed you have approximately twelve books that readers can download for FREE. Thank you, we will be sure to check them all out and share. Could you tell us why you have these books for free?

It’s to introduce people to me or a series without them worrying about the risk. I do a lot of different types of books, from PNR to Contemporary, and not everyone loves all the genres. If it’s free, you’re not out anything if you don’t like it.

Do you have a favourite character that you wish you could write more about or can write more about in the future? if yes can you tell us why?

I have several favorites. Lol. The problem with me having favorites is that I do write more about them. It’s why I have so many spinoffs. I fall in love with them.

What is the most important element for you while writing?

Conveying the emotion the characters are experiencing.

Where is the best place for readers to connect with you?

Facebook. It’s just the easiest to interact. Especially in my book club.

Where do you see yourself in ten years time?

Still writing, dodging unicorn pics, and living on caffeine. Lol

Do you like to read? if yes, what books do you love to read? Any favourites you would like to share?

I like it on occasion. I don’t have much time to read so it has to be a really good book for me to dedicate my time to it. I love romantic comedy with angst rolled in. I also love dark romance as long as it doesn’t tip the edge of “too far.”

Is there anything such as hobbies you like to do besides writing?

I stab unicorn dolls for fun. Nah, nothing else really. Lol

Fun questions:

If you were stuck on a desert island, who would be the one person you would like with you and why?

Jensen Ackles. Because it’s Jensen Ackles. Lol

What would be the one item you would wish to have with you and why?

Handcuffs. Because it’s Jensen Ackles.

Thank you C.M.Owens. We are going to assume you have a thing for Jensen Ackles. LOL!
