Gnarled Bones and Other Stories

Gnarled Bones and Other Stories by Tam May
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

★★★★

Gnarled Bones is a collection of short stories that give a small glimpse of the characters life that is meant to make the reader perceive life or the world in a different light. I don’t generally read short stories or collections such as Gnarled Bones as short stories and novellas general leave me feeling unsatisfied. I can make myself a bit crazy worrying about what happened to the characters.

That being said, I have to give credit to Tam May for well written stories that invoked a lot of thought. Barring the overthought on my part, I enjoyed the stories and more than one caused me to pause and think about what happened, which is what I think is the point. Gnarled Bones was my favorite.

Thanks Tam May for exposing me to something new and making me like it.

I was gifted a copy for an honest review.
